...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM MONDAY TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY... ...LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM MONDAY TO 1 AM EST TUESDAY... * WHAT...During the Gale Warning, expect sustained winds up to 35 knots from the west with gusts up to 48 knots. The largest significant waves will be 3 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 4 feet. During the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels expected. * WHERE...Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to North Cape MI. * WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 7 AM EST Monday with the largest waves expected around 8 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels across the western basin are forecast to fall between 4 to 6 feet below low water datum, which is at minimum over 3 feet below the safe level for navigation. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions. Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due to below normal water levels. &&

...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 PM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with occasional gusts of 50 to 60 mph expected. * WHERE...All of southeast Michigan. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive. &&
