Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area or conduct mitigation. ...BLIZZARD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST /NOON CST/ THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST /noon CST/ this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and result in power outages. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle. &&
