of 2 cm per hour or greater occurring, and may rapidly
accumulate on vessels. For the Small Craft Advisory, west
winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 5 to 8 ft
expected.

Lower Entrance of Portage Canal MI, Lower Entrance of Portage

damage vessels and reduce visibility.

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snowfall rates and blowing snow.
Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches. Winds
gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Marquette County.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and very difficult to
near impossible travel at times, especially near Lake Superior.
Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Windchills will fall into the -15F to -25F
range today.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
