For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or greater expected, and may rapidly accumulate on vessels. * WHERE...Manitou Island to Point Isabelle MI, Point Isabelle to Lower Entrance of Portage Canal MI, Lower Entrance of Portage Canal To Huron Islands MI Including Keweenaw and Huron Bays, Huron Islands to Marquette MI and Lake Superior West of Line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI Beyond 5NM from shore. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 1 PM EST Monday. For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 10 PM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of stability. Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area or conduct mitigation. Winter Storm Warning

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Moderate to heavy snowfall and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 4 inches, mainly north and east of US-41. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Marquette County. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and very difficult to near impossible travel at times, especially near the lakeshore. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Windchills will fall into the -15F to -25F range by Monday morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
