...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations between 9 and 19 inches, highest north. Ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Delta, Northern Schoolcraft, and Southern Schoolcraft Counties. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel will be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you.
