For the Small Craft Advisory, south to southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with a few gale force gusts up to 35 kt possible this evening becoming west winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt by Thursday; waves 2 to 5 ft expected. * WHERE...Marquette to Munising MI and Munising to Grand Marais MI. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 8 PM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
