* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between
3 and 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

* WHEN...From 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ this morning to 11 AM EDT /10 AM
CDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Monday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow and northwest wind gusts of
30 to 40 mph will result in deteriorating travel conditions.
Visibility will be near zero at times.

* WHERE...Michigan City IN to St Joseph MI.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
