...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Expect sustained winds up to 29 knots from the west with gusts up to 45 knots. The largest significant waves will be 5 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 7 feet. * WHERE...Outer Saginaw Bay SW of Alabaster to Port Austin MI to Inner Saginaw Bay, Inner Saginaw Bay SW of Point Au Gres to Bay Port MI, Port Austin to Harbor Beach MI, Harbor Beach to Port Sanilac MI and Port Sanilac to Port Huron MI. * WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 9 PM EST Saturday with the largest waves expected around 11 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold front will track across Lake Huron between now and 10 PM EST, leading to a quick pop in wind gusts. Expect a brief period of 45 knot gusts through the evening, with an isolated 50 knot gust not out of the question. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
