...Elevated fire danger across northern lower Michigan today... Gusty southwest winds and low relative humidity will lead to elevated fire danger today. Winds of 10 to 20 mph and frequent gusts of 25-35 mph will be seen over much northern Michigan late this morning through this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of 20-35 percent are expected over much of northern lower Michigan. These conditions could lead to rapid spread of fires.
