...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM EST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Northwest winds gusting as high as 30 mph. * WHERE...Genesee, Lapeer, Shiawassee, and St. Clair Counties. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 PM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow begins late this evening, with peak snowfall rates in excess of a half inch per hour expected between Midnight and 6 AM before rain begins to mix in with snow. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected by mid-day Wednesday before snow tapers off. Breezy northwest winds develop in the afternoon as well with gusts up to 30 mph.
