* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between
5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel
treacherous and potentially life-threatening. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
The strong winds may down power lines and could cause sporadic
power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

* WHAT...For the Storm Warning, north winds 30 to 40 kt with
gusts up to 50 kt and waves 16 to 21 ft occurring. For the
Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing spray at a rate
of 2 cm per hour or greater occurring, and may rapidly
accumulate on vessels.

* WHERE...Saxon Harbor WI to Black River MI, Black River to
Ontonagon MI, Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI
and Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to
Portage Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border
including Isle Royale National Park.

* WHEN...For the Storm Warning, until 2 PM EDT /1 PM CDT/
Monday. For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 2 PM EDT
/1 PM CDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is
hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
stability. Storm force winds and hazardous waves will capsize
or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.

Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.

...LAKESHORE FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS
EVENING TO 11 PM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Significant lakeshore flooding expected with wave heights
of 15 to 25 feet possible.

* WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 11 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads closed and low lying property
including parking lots, lawns, and homes and businesses will
be inundated near the lake. Some shoreline erosion will occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
