* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan,
including the following areas, in central Upper Michigan, Alger,
Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Iron, Luce, Marquette, Menominee,
Northern Schoolcraft and Southern Schoolcraft. In western Upper
Michigan, Gogebic, Keweenaw, Northern Houghton, Ontonagon and
Southern Houghton.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Upper Michigan, including the
following counties, Delta, Dickinson and Menominee.

* WHEN...Until 745 AM EDT /645 AM CDT/ Monday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1048 PM EDT /948 PM CDT/, rain and snowmelt is occurring,
and will cause minor flooding.
- At 326 PM EDT/226 PM CDT/, MDOT reported that US-2 was closed
in the advisory area due to excessive rainfall and snowmelt
and remains closed at this time.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Escanaba, Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Norway, Powers,
Hermansville, Ford River, Wilson, Spalding, Bark River,
Whitney, Waucedah, Cunard, Schaeffer, Loretto, Vulcan, Hyde
and Quinnesec.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Structures along the river along Homestead
Road and Sturgeon Way Road may start to be impacted by floodwaters.

- At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
Sunday night and continue rising to a crest of 17.6 feet Tuesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.7
feet on 04/19/2002 and 17.4 feet on 04/27/1996 and on 04/16/2023.
