For the Gale Warning, northwest winds 25 to 35 knots and waves 7 to 12 feet expected. * WHERE...St Joseph to Manistee. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 AM EST Sunday. For the Gale Warning, from 10 AM to 8 PM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 12 inches. * WHERE...Calhoun, Allegan, Kalamazoo, Ottawa, and Van Buren Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is winterized and in good working order. &&
