...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST LOWER MICHIGAN... Strengthening southeast winds and dry conditions will lead to near critical fire weather conditions today. Winds of 10 to 20 mph with frequent gusts up to 25 to 35 mph will be seen over much of northern MI this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of 25 to 35 percent are expected over interior locations of northeast lower. These conditions could lead to rapid spread of fires.
