Lake effect snow showers and blowing snow will continue into this evening with west-northwest winds between 10-20 mph and gusts to around 35 mph. Reduced visibility is expected, especially across open areas and along portions of US-2 exposed to northern Lake Michigan. At 10:45 AM, emergency manager reported that US-2 is closed between St. Ignace and Brevort due to low visibility and multiple car accidents. Use caution if traveling today.
