Additional snow accumulations between 5 and 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations between one and two feet and ice accumulations around a light glaze possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Mackinac, Southeast Chippewa, and Western Mackinac Counties, and Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc Island. * WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 2 AM EDT Saturday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening and Monday morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
