possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Eastern Upper and Northern Lower Michigan,
including the following areas, in Eastern Upper Michigan, Central
Chippewa, Eastern Mackinac, Southeast Chippewa, Western Chippewa
and Western Mackinac. In Northern Lower Michigan, Alcona, Alpena,
Arenac, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Gladwin,
Grand Traverse, Iosco, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee,
Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon and
Wexford.

* WHEN...Through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring following recent heavy rainfall.
Roads and structures near lakes and rivers will continue to see
high water levels and potential wash outs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 407 PM EDT, Numerous reports of flooding impacting roads
and structures across the area.
- Some locations that will likely continue to experience
flooding issues include...
Pellston, Indian River, Conway, Aloha, Alanson, Wolverine,
Burt Lake State Park, Topinabee, Burt Lake, Mullet Lake,
Brutus, Aloha State Park, Koehler Township, Reasoners Corner,
Afton, Oden, Alverno, Levering.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
