...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Light freezing rain and drizzle transitioning to
wind-driven snow later tonight and Monday. Total snow
accumulations between 6 and 9 inches and ice accumulations around
one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Beaver Island and surrounding islands, and Cheboygan,
Emmet, and Presque Isle Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening
commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage and produce
isolated power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.

* WHAT...Highest gusts up to 55 kts from the north and highest
waves around 19 feet expected.

* WHERE...Grand Traverse Bay south of a line Grand Traverse
Light to Norwood MI, Norwood MI to 5NM West of Mackinac Bridge
including Little Traverse Bay, Sleeping Bear Point to Grand
Traverse Light MI, Point Betsie to Sleeping Bear Point MI and
Manistee to Point Betsie MI.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 1 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous highest waves will
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
