...Scattered showers and thunderstorms could produce gusty winds and hail this afternoon and evening... Scattered showers and thunderstorms are developing this afternoon, which are capable of wind gusts in excess of 40 mph, hail, and lightning. These winds could result in a few downed trees and limbs. In addition, a few of these storms could produce strong winds to 60 mph and/or hail to quarter size. If these storms are detected, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning would be issued.

Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until the showers and storms pass. A Special Marine Warning will be issued if winds in excess of 34 kt and/or hail in excess of penny size are expected.
