...Snow Showers Persist into this Evening...

Light to moderate snow showers are occurring along the lakeshore and
also into the US 131 corridor. Visibilities may drop to less than one
mile under the steadier bands with snowfall rates of one quarter to
one half an inch per hour possible. Snow will accumulate as it falls
given temperatures in the teens. Reduced travel speeds are occurring
along I-196 from Holland to South Haven and also I-94 from Kalamazoo
to the lakeshore, as well as stretches of US 31. Total accumulations
from this afternoon into tonight are expected to be 1"-2" with a few
spots over 2" possible.
