...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues. * WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following counties, Antrim, Benzie, Crawford, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, Roscommon and Wexford. * WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1151 AM EDT, Emergency management reports ongoing flooding across parts of the warned area. - Localized rainfall up to one inch fell across portions of the warned area Friday night into early Saturday. Drier weather is expected in the coming days, which should result in a slow improvement in flood conditions. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
