* WHAT...Significant lakeshore flooding expected.

* WHERE...Marquette and Alger Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 1 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads closed and low lying property
including parking lots, lawns, and homes and businesses will
be inundated near the lake. Some shoreline erosion will occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Blizzard Warning

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM
EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. A glaze of ice possible in
eastern Alger County this evening before changing to heavy snow.
Total snow accumulations between 15 and 24 inches, greatest
amounts in areas of high terrain. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph,
strongest near Lake Superior.

* WHERE...Alger and Marquette Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
will be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow will
significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will
impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds could
cause tree damage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.

roads tonight...

Patchy fog, drizzle, and freezing drizzle are leading to hazardous
travel conditions tonight. Visiblity below a mile has been
observed, and may fall to as low as a quarter mile at times.
Additionally, freezing drizzle may mix in at times, leading to
patchy slick spots on roadways.

Be prepared for reduced visibility and slippery roadways
overnight. Slow down and keep a safe distance from other vehicles.

accumulate on vessels.

hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
stability. Storm force winds and hazardous waves will capsize
or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.
