Air temperatures in lakeshore communities likely reach 0 to 15 below. Dangerously cold wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero possible along the lakeshores. Wind chills may drop as low as 35 to 45 below across the coldest areas of interior northern lower Michigan. * WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan. * WHEN...Until 11 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold air temperatures and wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside.
