* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, west winds 10 to 20 kt with
gusts up to 25 kt and seas 3 to 6 ft. For the Gale Warning,
southwest winds 25 to 35 kt with a few gusts up to 50 kt and
seas 10 to 15 ft expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Port Clyde, ME to Cape Elizabeth,
ME out 25 NM and Coastal Waters from Cape Elizabeth, ME to
Merrimack River, MA out 25 NM.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 7 AM EST this
morning. For the Gale Warning, from 1 AM Friday to 7 AM EST
Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
