* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, north winds 25 to 35 kt with
gusts up to 45 kt and seas 4 to 7 ft. For the Freezing Spray
Advisory, moderate accumulation of freezing spray expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Eastport, ME to Schoodic Point, ME
out 25 NM, Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME to
Stonington, ME out 25 NM and Intra Coastal Waters from
Schoodic Point, ME to Stonington, ME.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in freezing spray is hazardous.
Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components
inoperative. Ice accretion on decks and superstructures may
result in some loss of stability. Strong winds will cause
hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and
reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

During freezing spray conditions the U.S. Coast Guard advises
that you ensure all lifesaving equipment remains free of ice.

Mariners should prepare for accumulation of ice on their vessel
and consider altering plans to avoid or mitigate these hazardous
navigating conditions.

Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the

...Blowing and Drifting Snow Tonight...

Snow blowing across the roads in open areas will create near zero
visibility at times tonight. Drive slowly and keep your distance
from the car ahead of you. Remain alert for snow drifts in the
road which can cause loss of control. If you become stranded call
for help and do not leave your vehicle.
