LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations greater than
6 inches possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine
and central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Periods of moderate and
heavy snow will combine with low visibility to create dangerous
driving conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the
Tuesday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter

...SLIPPERY SPOTS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT...

Clearing skies, light winds, and temperatures slowly dropping
into the lower to mid 30s in is allowing for the formation of icy
spots. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to use caution while out
and about overnight as icy spots can creep up unexpectedly.
