Wet, untreated surfaces and rapidly falling temperatures behind a
cold front will cause wet roads to freeze, resulting in icy and
slippery roads. Use extra caution for this mornings commute with
slippery conditions until surfaces are treated. Air temperatures
will begin to raise above freezing by early afternoon, helping
with melt.
