* WHAT...For the Heavy Freezing Spray Watch, heavy freezing
spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or greater possible, and may
rapidly accumulate on vessels. For the Storm Watch, northwest
winds 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt and seas 7 to 10 ft
possible.

* WHERE...Coastal waters from Fenwick Island DE to Chincoteague
VA out 20 nm, Coastal waters from Chincoteague to Parramore
Island VA out 20 nm and Coastal waters from Parramore Island
to Cape Charles Light VA out 20 nm.

* WHEN...For the Heavy Freezing Spray Watch, from Saturday
morning through Sunday morning. For the Storm Watch, from
Saturday morning through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is
hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
stability. Storm force winds and hazardous seas could capsize
or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid or mitigate
hazardous accumulation of ice on their vessel.

Mariners should prepare to remain in port, alter course, and/or
secure the vessel before the onset of severe conditions.

gusts up to 55 mph possible. For the Extreme Cold Watch,
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 below possible.

* WHERE...In Maryland, Dorchester, Inland Worcester, Maryland
Beaches, Somerset, and Wicomico Counties. In Virginia, Northampton
and Accomack Counties.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Watch, from Saturday morning through
Saturday evening. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Saturday
evening through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. The cold wind chills as low
as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are
not taken.
