At 1134 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 nm west of Mayo to 10 nm east of National Harbor to
6 nm south of Fort Washington, moving east at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Observed wind.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

Choptank River, Greenwell State Park, Saint Leonard Creek, Knapps
Narrows Bridge, Tilghman Island, Blackwalnut Point, Chesapeake Beach,
Solomons Island, Cuckold Creek, Town Creek, North Beach, Drum Point,
Herring Bay, Sandy Point State Park, Bloody Point Light, Matapeake,
Chesapeake Bay Bridge, James Island, Calvert Cliffs, and Thomas Point
Light.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

southern Maryland, and central and northern Virginia.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 10 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
