...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR SOUTHEASTERN BALTIMORE COUNTY AND EXTREME NORTHEASTERN BALTIMORE CITY... At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated about 1 to 3 inches of rain has fallen in the warned area over the last hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the next hour. Excess runoff will lead to flash flooding. The Baltimore County 911 Center reported a vehicle stuck in high water along Eastern Boulevard and Martin Boulevard in Middle River. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. At 549 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Northeast River to near Pooles Island to 9 nm west of Annapolis, moving southeast at 10 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel. Locations impacted include...
