PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels expected. * WHERE...Patuxent River to Broomes Island MD. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until midnight EST Sunday night. For the Low Water Advisory, from 5 AM to 11 AM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
