subsiding during the afternoon.

* WHERE...Portions of DC, central, north central, northeast, and
northern Maryland, and northern Virginia.

* WHEN...Until noon EST today.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

west winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt expected.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay north of North Beach MD, Patapsco River
including Baltimore Harbor, Chester River to Queenstown MD,
and Eastern Bay.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 6 PM EST Tuesday. For the
Small Craft Advisory, from 6 PM Tuesday to 6 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels.
