...BRIEF PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS EARLY THIS MORNING... A line of snow showers will pass through the area along a cold front between 515 AM and 7 AM. The heavier snow showers will last about 10 minutes with visibilities locally reduced to near one- half miles Snow may coat the ground and temperatures will quickly fall below freezing behind this line. Therefore, any wet or slushy untreated surfaces may become icy heading into the early morning commute. Wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph are possible directly along this line and behind it. Please use extra caution if you are travelling during this time. Drive slowly and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you so you are prepared for any sudden changes in visibility.
