Marine Weather Statement
Issued: 3:36 PM May. 18, 2025 – National Weather Service
...SPORADIC GALE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE...

Recent observations across the northern Chesapeake Bay have
indicated westerly winds are gusting to around 30 knots. Breezy
winds may approach gale force at times over the next few hours,
particularly over the more open waters. Inexperienced mariners,
especially those operating smaller vessels, should exercise extra
caution if navigating the waters during this time.

Will re-assess the situation in a few hours.
