...MAINLY LIGHT SNOW WILL RESULT IN SLIPPERY TRAVEL TODAY INCLUDING EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS WHERE IT WILL LINGER INTO THE AFTERNOON... Light snow has overspread the region very early this morning. While the light snow will come to an end by lunchtime across western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut...it will linger into the afternoon further east especially across eastern Massachusetts. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected across much of the region with the higher amounts near and south of the Massachusetts turnpike. Motorists traveling today should be prepared for slippery travel and snow covered roadways.
