...AREAS OF FOG WILL BE LOCALLY DENSE AT TIMES INTO THIS AFTERNOON... Widespread fog covered much of the region at mid-morning. Some of the fog was locally dense...particularly near the coast where many locations had visibilities below one quarter of a mile. Areas of fog will persist into the afternoon and may be locally dense at times. Motorists traveling through the afternoon should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility over short distances and stay a safe distance behind the vehicle in front of them.
