Special Weather Statement
Issued: 8:21 PM Feb. 18, 2026 – National Weather Service
...AREAS OF BLACK ICE LIKELY DEVELOPING TONIGHT... After a period of light rain/snow showers this afternoon and evening, temperatures will fall below freezing and into the 20s overnight. Light winds will limit how quickly wet surfaces can dry out and thus we expect areas of black ice to develop tonight and persist through the morning commute tomorrow. Travel with caution, especially on untreated surfaces and secondary roads.
