* Flash Flood Warning for...
Eastern Ouachita Parish in north central Louisiana...
Southeastern Union Parish in north central Louisiana...

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 1227 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Monroe, Claiborne, West Monroe, Brownsville-Bawcom,
Brownsville-Bawcomville, Swartz, Richwood, Sterlington, Pine Grove,
Millhaven, Fairbanks, Guthrie, Fondale, Loch Lomon, Deshard,
Perryville and Bosco.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Caldwell Parish in north central Louisiana...
Southeastern Ouachita Parish in north central Louisiana...

* WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1201 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This  will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Monroe, West Monroe, Columbia, Brownsville-Bawcomville,
Brownsville-Bawcom, Swartz, Richwood, Grayson, Bosco, Fondale,
Pine Grove, Riverton and Millhaven.
