...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following
parish, St. Tammany and southern Mississippi, including the
following county, Hancock.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1055 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
in Pearl River due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Pearl River is the most likely place to experience minor
flooding.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Slidell and Pearl River.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following
parish, St. Tammany.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1035 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Slidell, Mandeville, Covington, Eden Isle and Lacombe.

Lafourche, Lower Plaquemines, Lower St. Bernard, Lower St.
Charles, Lower Tangipahoa, Lower Terrebonne, Northern Livingston,
Northern St. Tammany, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Livingston,
