* At 842 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Ringgold, Heflin, Castor, Jamestown, Lake Bistineau South, Mc Dade,
Ninock, Koran, Curtis, Elm Grove, Plum Orchard Landing, Caspiana,
Lake Bistineau North, Taylortown, Noles Landing, Sligo, Robson and
Ogden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southwestern Bienville Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Southeastern Bossier Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Southern Caddo Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Central De Soto Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Northwestern Red River Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Southeastern Webster Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

* WHEN...Until 1215 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 818 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This  will cause urban and small
stream flooding. Between 1 and 3+ inches of rain have fallen so
far this morning.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches, with isolated
higher amounts, are expected over the area. This additional rain
will result in minor flooding. Should the heavy rainfall persist,
a Flash Flood Warning will be needed.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Stonewall, Ringgold, Heflin, Hall Summit, Keachi, Castor, Grand
Cane, Jamestown, Caspiana, Mc Dade, Ninock, Elm Grove,
Taylortown, Loggy Bayou, Robson, Frierson, Koran and Lake
Bistineau South.
