...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall will continue. * WHERE...A portion of central Louisiana, including the following parishes, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Rapides and St. Landry. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams and bayous continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 100 PM CDT, gauge reports runoff and standing water from previous excessive rainfall. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
