Southern Hancock County in southern Mississippi... Southwestern Harrison County in southern Mississippi... * WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 956 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Central Jefferson, Central Plaquemines, Central St. Charles, Central Tangipahoa, Coastal Jefferson, Eastern Orleans, Lower Plaquemines, Lower St. Bernard, Lower St. Charles, Lower Tangipahoa, Northern St. Tammany, Northern Tangipahoa, Southeast St. Tammany, Southwestern St. Tammany, St. John The Baptist, Upper Jefferson, Upper Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard, Upper St. Charles, Washington and Western Orleans and southern Mississippi, including the following counties, Pearl River, Pike and Walthall. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
