...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE... * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora, including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of water over the road and are subject to being closed. ...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central Louisiana, including the following parishes, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Rapides and St. Landry. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams and bayous continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 219 PM CDT, gauge reports runoff and standing water from previous excessive rainfall. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
