...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following
parishes, Central Tangipahoa, East Baton Rouge, Eastern Ascension,
Iberville, Lower Tangipahoa, Northern Livingston, Northern St.
Tammany, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Livingston, Southwestern
St. Tammany, West Baton Rouge and Western Ascension and southern
Mississippi, including the following areas, Northern Hancock,
Northern Harrison, Northern Jackson, Southern Hancock, Southern
Harrison and Southern Jackson.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of storms will be moving through the area
today through tonight. An additional 2 to 3 inches of
rainfall with locally higher amounts in excess of 5 inches
will be possible tonight through Tuesday morning, enhancing
the flash flooding threat.
