...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO EARLY TOMORROW
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Comite River at Comite Joor Rd.

* WHEN...From this evening to early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, High water will prevent recreational and
industrial activity from Louisiana Highway 64 downstream to the
Amite River junction. Farm animals and equipment should be moved
to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CST Saturday the stage was 15.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening to a crest of 20.5 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
