...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following
parishes, Assumption, Central Plaquemines, Coastal Jefferson
Parish, Eastern Orleans, Lower Jefferson, Lower Lafourche, Lower
Plaquemines, Lower St. Bernard, Lower Terrebonne, St. Charles, St.
James, St. John The Baptist, Upper Jefferson, Upper Lafourche,
Upper Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard, Upper Terrebonne and Western
Orleans.

* WHEN...From Monday morning through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of storms will be moving through the area
throughout the next 2 days. 2 to 4 inches of rainfall with
locally higher amounts in excess of 5 inches will be possible
Monday through Tuesday morning, enhancing the flash flooding
threat.
