...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...East to southeast winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt.

* WHERE...The lakes and coastal waters of Southeastern Louisiana.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a potential for a wake low to
develop behind thunderstorms later today. If this low tracks
closer to the waters and/or is stronger than currently expected,
winds may briefly approach gale warning criteria tonight,
especially across the lakes and Mississippi Sound.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following
parishes, Eastern Ascension, Eastern Orleans, Lower Tangipahoa,
Northern St. Tammany, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Livingston,
Southwestern St. Tammany, St. Charles, St. James, St. John The
Baptist, Upper Jefferson, Upper Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard,
Western Ascension and Western Orleans and southern Mississippi,
including the following areas, Northern Hancock, Northern
Harrison, Northern Jackson, Pearl River, Southern Hancock,
Southern Harrison and Southern Jackson.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of storms will be moving through the area
beginning tonight and continuing into Saturday morning.
