* At 901 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kolin, or
near Pineville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is

NORTHWESTERN AVOYELLES PARISHES THROUGH 930 PM CDT...

At 832 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Timber Trails, or near Pineville, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
objects is possible.

Alexandria, Pineville, Marksville, Boyce, Alexandria International
Airport, Effie, Ball, Deville, Libuse, Tioga, Timber Trails, Esler
Regional Airport, Brouillette, Kingsville, Poland, Kolin, Gardner,
