Special Weather Statement
Issued: 7:56 PM Jun. 16, 2025 – National Weather Service
...Heavy Rains...Potential Flooding...Gusty Winds...Lightning...

At 255 PM...Paducah radar showed scattered to numerous
thunderstorms impacting portions of the Evansville Tri-State area.
The main impact is heavy rain, which, when it repeats over the
same areas, makes localized flooding more likely. A stronger
storm may also contain small hail and winds gusting up to 45 mph
are possible, as recently occurred in Owensboro.

Practice storm safety and seek high ground immediately if heavy
rains cause rising waters in your area.
