* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Kentucky, including
the following counties, in central Kentucky, Boyle, Casey,
Garrard, Green, Lincoln, Madison, Marion and Taylor. In south
central Kentucky, Barren and Metcalfe.

* WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT /330 AM EDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1119 PM CDT /1219 AM EDT/, Doppler radar and automated
rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Richmond, Danville, Glasgow, Campbellsville, Stanford,
Lancaster, Greensburg, Mccreary, Berea and Junction City.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, north central, northwest, and
south central Kentucky, including the following areas, in east
central Kentucky, Anderson, Boyle, Clark KY, Fayette, Garrard,
Jessamine, Madison, Mercer and Woodford. In north central
Kentucky, Hardin, Larue, Nelson and Washington KY. In northwest
Kentucky, Ohio. In south central Kentucky, Adair, Allen, Barren,
Butler, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Edmonson, Grayson, Green,
Hart, Lincoln, Logan, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Simpson,
Taylor and Warren.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rounds of showers and thunderstorms containing torrential
rainfall will impact the region through tonight.  Some
locations may receive multiple rounds of heavy rainfall
leading to high water and flash flooding.
