low lying areas.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast
Kentucky, including the following counties, in east central
Kentucky, Estill. In south central Kentucky, Laurel, Pulaski and
Rockcastle. In southeast Kentucky, Clay, Jackson, Lee and Owsley.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of larger creeks, streams, especially in
low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 930 AM EDT, Flooding is ongoing in the warned area, as 2
to 4 inches of rainfall had occurred in the past 24 to 30
hours.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Somerset, London, Irvine, Mount Vernon, Beattyville,
Manchester, McKee, Booneville, Boone, Fincastle, Science
Hill, Ravenna, Middlefork, Carico, Ardery, Parrot, Eberle,
Cruise, Dango and Templer.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kentucky River near Ravenna.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.5 feet, Sang Branch Road is under water at Red
Lick Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:20 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 20.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.8
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage late Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
