...A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be
possible.

* WHERE...The Flood Watch includes the Kentucky counties of Johnson,
Martin,  Laurel, Whitley, Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan,
Jackson, Knott, Knox, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Owsley,
Perry, Pike, and Wolfe.

* WHEN...The Flood Watch is in effect until 10 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks,
streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected
this afternoon and evening. Locations that are impacted by
repeated heavy downpours may receive excessive rainfall which
leads to flash flooding.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
